Terms of Service

These Terms form a binding contract between you ("you") and TechBuilds EOOD (UIC 206521446, registered office Bulgaria, Nesebar) ("we", "us"). By creating an account or placing an order you accept these Terms in full.

Spotlight Paws is an AI-powered service that generates a custom digital portrait of your pet from one or more reference photos you upload. The portrait is delivered as a digital file by email and inside your account gallery. It is a digital good with no physical component.

You sign in with a magic link sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

The sign-in page states that by continuing you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you proceed, you also consent to receive occasional marketing emails from us with product updates, news, and offers. That is separate from the transactional emails we send to operate your account and deliver orders (magic links, receipts, portrait delivery).

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message, or by emailing privacy@spotlightpaws.com from the address on your account with the subject "Unsubscribe". Opting out does not affect transactional or legally required messages.

Each portrait is a one-time fee shown on the order page before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card details.

Prices shown at checkout are the final amount payable. TechBuilds EOOD is not currently VAT-registered; no VAT is added to your order.

Receipts are issued automatically by Stripe and contain our entity details and your order reference.

Generation typically completes in under five minutes. During heavy load it may take a few hours. The finished portrait is delivered both by email and inside your account gallery.

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (article 16(m) of the Directive, transposed in Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act art. 57(13)), this right is lost when performance begins with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment of the loss of the right.

When you sign in, you agree to these Terms, including this waiver. By placing an order, you (a) expressly request that we begin performance immediately and (b) acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once generation begins.

You may only upload photos that you own or have permission to use. You must not upload illegal, harmful, defamatory, or sexually explicit content, or photos of people without their consent. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that, in our reasonable judgement, breaches this section, in which case any payment taken is refunded.

Portraits are generated by an AI model and are creative interpretations of your reference photos. While we use multiple reference photos to carry markings, ears, eye colour, and other features through the result, AI output naturally varies and is not a photographic guarantee.

You retain all rights in the photos you upload. By uploading them, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process them solely for the purpose of generating, storing, and delivering your portrait.

Once delivered, you receive a worldwide, perpetual, non-transferable licence to use the resulting portrait for personal, non-commercial purposes (printing, sharing on social media, gifting). Commercial use requires our prior written agreement.

If a generation fails on our side (technical error, timeout, model failure), we will re-run it at no cost or, at your option, refund the order in full. If you are unhappy with the result for a quality reason, contact us and we will look at it case by case; refunds in this scenario are at our discretion. Once a portrait has been successfully delivered we do not offer refunds, except where required by mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the service, or any portrait, is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. We do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Bulgarian or EU consumer law.

You can stop using the service and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that creates a risk to us or to other users.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active accounts before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the change date counts as acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria. Where you are a consumer with habitual residence in another EU country, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection rules of that country (Rome I Regulation art. 6).

The European Commission operates an Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr that EU consumers may use to resolve disputes out of court.
