Terms of Service

These Terms form a binding contract between you ("you") and TechBuilds EOOD (UIC 206521446, registered office Bulgaria, Nesebar) ("we", "us"). By creating an account or placing an order you accept these Terms in full.

Spotlight Paws generates a custom digital portrait of your pet from reference photos you upload. The portrait is delivered as a digital file by email and in your account gallery. There is no physical product.

You sign in with a magic link sent to your email address. You must be 18 or older (or have a parent or guardian's consent) to create an account and place orders. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

By signing in you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, including how we handle marketing preferences and transactional emails.

Each portrait is a one-time fee shown on the order page before you pay. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never receive your full card details.

Prices shown at checkout are the final amount payable. TechBuilds EOOD is not currently VAT-registered; no VAT is added to your order.

An electronic receipt is issued for each completed order.

We aim to deliver your portrait promptly after payment. Delivery times vary with system load and are not guaranteed. The finished portrait is delivered by email and in your account gallery.

EU consumers normally have a 14-day right to cancel distance purchases. For digital content delivered without a physical medium, that right is lost once performance begins — but only if you give prior express consent and acknowledge the loss of the right.

When you continue to payment on the order page, you request immediate delivery and confirm you understand you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once generation begins. General Terms and Privacy Policy acceptance happens at sign-in.

You may only upload photos that you own or have permission to use. You must not upload illegal, harmful, defamatory, or sexually explicit content, or photos of people without their consent.

You indemnify us against any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your uploads or your breach of this section.

We may refuse, cancel, or terminate any order that breaches this section. Where the breach is serious (including illegal content), we are not obliged to refund any payment taken.

Portraits are generated by an AI model and are creative interpretations — not photographic reproductions. We do not guarantee resemblance to your pet, accuracy of markings, or freedom from visual artifacts.

Output may include distortions, omissions, or unexpected elements. Portraits are for personal enjoyment only and must not be used for identification, veterinary, legal, or safety-critical purposes.

We are not responsible for how you use, share, or rely on any portrait once delivered.

You retain all rights in the photos you upload. By uploading them, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process them solely for generating, storing, and delivering your portrait.

Once delivered, you receive a worldwide, perpetual, non-transferable licence to use the resulting portrait for personal, non-commercial purposes (printing, sharing on social media, gifting). Commercial use requires our prior written agreement.

If generation fails on our side (technical error, timeout, or model failure), we will re-run it once at no extra cost. If the re-run also fails, we will refund the order in full.

Subjective dissatisfaction with a successfully delivered portrait is not grounds for a refund or free re-generation. Refunds after successful delivery are not offered except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence requires them.

The service and all portraits are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We rely on third-party providers (payment, hosting, AI inference, email). We are not liable for failures, delays, or outages caused by those providers or by events outside our reasonable control (force majeure).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss — including lost profits, lost data, or emotional distress — arising from these Terms, the service, or any portrait.

Our aggregate liability for direct losses arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Bulgarian or EU consumer law.

You can stop using the service and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that creates a risk to us or to other users.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active accounts before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the change date counts as acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria. Where you are a consumer with habitual residence in another EU country, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection rules of that country.

The European Commission operates an Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr that EU consumers may use to resolve disputes out of court.
